Very Peri! Pantone's Color of the Year!

Pantone released their Color of the Year for 2022, and it is...drum roll, please...

...Very Peri!

Isn't that lovely? I like periwinkle, and it is a color that creeps into my wardrobe, especially during this period of winter heading in to spring.

I looked at my ink stash to find a match, and Catherine Pooler's Serenade is spot on!

I did a crazy thing last month.

I joined Club Sursee.

That's a subscription service from Catherine Pooler that sends out a crafty kit each month. Subscribers can get stamp sets and dies at a reduced price, either at the basic or deluxe level.

I'm not big on subscriptions or kits, but this one allows you to discontinue at any time.

And the whole reason I joined? This coffee/thermos inspired kit was too cute to pass up!

This card was a lot of fun to make. The die cuts were easy to stamp and layer, and the images can be used for all seasons when you mix up the colors.

It is c-c-cold outside! I am finally out of self-quarantine period and able to get out and about again. Brrr! I think I will stay indoors for a bit longer.

Warm Hugs and Cozy Thoughts, café friends!

  1. Lovely, lovely, lovely card! Those colors - wow! Subscription kits are so fun. The surprise each month is something to look forward to. It's the same reason I get a couple magazines each month (although I make sure to subscribe to ones my library doesn't carry...I'm still frugal at heart lol).

    1. You're right! It is a lot like the fun of getting that new magazine in the mail.
