Happy St. Patrick's Day, café friends!
Did you happen to catch the easel card I made last week for the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog? You can see it here:
I wanted to use two small frosty beer mugs on my chalkboard easel. Guess what? I don't own small frosty beer mugs in my craft collection! No worries! I used these cocktail glasses and dies from Catherine Pooler's Cocktail Party stamp set. After adhering the image to the chalkboard, I drew the foam outline with a white Signo gel pen, and then filled it in with the white metallic paint from Prima.
And here is the inspiration for today's easel card! I saw this sign in front of Aberrant Ales Brewery in downtown Howell, Michigan last weekend!
My husband received a great present from our son, John, this Christmas: a Michigan Beer Passport that allows you to explore different breweries all over the state, collect your passport "stamps", and get half off your first two drinks. Fun! Thus far, we have visited two microbreweries from the passport, with more to come as the weather improves.
Hope your day is filled with good cheer, café friends!
p.s. Make sure to visit the Coffee Loving Papercrafters blog tomorrow to see another one of my coffee creations! Hint: it is definitely St. Paddy's Day-inspired!
Another great "use what you have" card! Love your photos of places you go, too!
