Pre-Stamping

 

I am not a person that does a lot of pre-stamping. I notice that crafters who like to color little critters often pre-stamp and color them to use on future projects. That would never work for me. What if I wake up in a yellow mood? Or a pink mood? What if I want to pair it with a background paper that has a lot of blue and green, and my critters won't coordinate?

For me, color is everything. 

But last week, I had this big birch tree background stamp from Hello Bluebird, and I thought "Well, if I've inked it once, it would probably be a good idea to ink a few more at the same time."

I chose so blues and yellows, and made six backgrounds for future use.

I just might have to pair it with these cuties. Those birds...holding the banner! swoon!

And speaking of birds...I saw my first robins and red-wing blackbirds this weekend! Spring is coming, café friends!
