Moths...In Action!

 

I don't often post videos, but this little guy was too cool not to share.

My nature-loving brother, Tim, told me that this is a clearwing hummingbird moth. He said they've been visiting his garden this week, too. We marveled at the fact that every butterfly and moth seems to know exactly when the butterfly bush is in full bloom!

Here's another butterfly (or moth) card! I kept this one simple. I used this fun background stamp from Catherine Pooler, inked it in a few different greens, and then stamped the butterflies in black on top of it.

The green leaves made me think of the milkweed in the garden.

It's a lovely summer day, and I plan on spending some time soaking up the sun.
