So how are you doing on your New Year's Resolutions? LOL!
2022 was supposed to be my year to "Try Something New". Honestly, I think I have failed miserably thus far. I cannot think of a new thing I have yet to try or do...not a new food, not a new skill, not a new craft or hobby or project.
Same old same old.
But sometimes, in a year of upheavals, the tried and true can bring great comfort.
One of the "new" things I've wanted to try is bullet journaling.
I got this Canvo bullet journal last year, and it has remained untouched. Big plans, but never put ink to paper...until today!
I've been slowly acquiring some of Catherine Pooler's Canvo supplies when they go on sale.
September always feels like a month of new beginnings.
I think I will use this journal to get a little inspiration, more so than keeping me completely organized. I plan on using this to record some thoughts and creative pursuits.
Just a fun way to use my stamps and inks!
Have you tried planners or bullet journals? What are your thoughts?
I've never been a planner person....a filled calendar gets me down, since I love being spontaneous with stuff. My middle daughter loves bullet journals. She made me one years ago when she was 11 or 12 and I used it to sketch card layouts and other design ideas. I still have it because it makes me smile to imagine her making it for me. Quotes are my thing and I've thought about having a journal for lettering them. I'd love to see updates on your journal once you start using it!
