Autumn Pastels

I usually associate autumn with the fiery colors of fall leaves...gold, crimson, orange. But pastels can also be found in the autumn tableau. These peachy drift roses, for example.

I saw this burning bush on a walk recently. The leaves were the most unexpected shade of pink!

So I decided to make a Halloween card using pastel pumpkins!

I made a background using the Blowing Leaves background stamp from Catherine Pooler. I splattered a little ink and added a few pale sequins, too.

  1. Pumpkins seem to come in different colors now. I saw pink ones at a pumpkin patch a few years ago. Last week at the grocery store there was a pumpkin with a white background and an orange pattern, kind of like veining, on top. Very different!
