Frosted Birthdays

 

Happy Monday, café friends! How was your weekend? The weather was lovely, which means two things:

1.) My husband got a lot of bike rides in

and

2.) I got to play in my craft room when he was biking!

I needed a birthday card for one of our pastors, and didn't have anything suitable in my stash. Great! I can finally play with the fun stuff from Catherine Pooler's birthday release!

I made a fun background of cupcakes and candles. And when it was all done, I didn't want to cover it up with a big sentiment. Hmmm, what to do?

That's when I remembered this Round of Happy die. Perfect!

Those little candle flames...precious! I put a little Nuvo Crystal Glaze on them to make them stand out.

Inside, the sentiment says "May all of your cupcakes have extra frosting!"

I need to get cracking on a few Halloween cards this week! It's hard to believe that October is coming to a close.
