When You Need A Card, and Fast!

I needed a birthday card, and I needed it in a hurry.

I confess, this was for my husband's birthday yesterday, and I should have put a lot more thought into it. But let's face it, we are all super busy this time of year! I barely have time to breathe!

I was so thankful for these pre-stamped and cut out elements from my previous card-making session. I knew I could use these to make a fast and fabulous card for Ed!

I paired the presents with this great sentiment set from Catherine Pooler called Inside Out Birthday sentiments.

We had a very busy day (more on that later), but here's the birthday boy looking festive.

And here he is at the Black Rock Grill, where we shared this amazing lava cake!

Decadent! Ed had a good birthday, and he deserves it. He works so hard, especially this time of year. I am glad we got to celebrate together!

  1. Happy Birthday to your husband! That cake looks absolutely over-the-top yummy! Our oldest daughter's birthday is in December, too, and my husband works in retail (I think you mentioned once that is the industry your husband works in) so it does get busy, you are right! He's in the tech part of retail and it isn't a good time of year for systems to go down lol.

    1. Yes, we are a retail family, too! And I know what you mean about the tech systems needing to operate at maximum capacity now!
