Winter Sympathy

 

I needed a sympathy card for a family at church. They are a very outdoorsy family of hunters and nature lovers, so I wanted something to reflect that.

I used this paper from Simple Stories as my starting point, then added some pines from Hello Bluebird, twine, and sentiment to a crimped kraft panel.

Inside, I used the scrap from the die cut to create a stencil for blending this pine branch.

I've been using a lot of "prec-cut" elements in my card making lately. Such a time saver! I may need to spend some time cutting a few more today.
