Happy Pi (3.14) Day!

Happy Pi Day! 3.14. The first three numbers of pi. When my son, John, was attending Rose Hulman Institute of Technology, he would send me a video of the sidewalks on campus on Pi Day, where some future engineers had meticulously written, in chalk, the long stream of numbers from pi all over campus. Those silly engineer-types know how to have a good time. 😁

I have a Pie stitch card to share!

Notice anything different about my pie? OOPS! I was supposed to stitch the top shell of the pie in the lighter yellow, and the crust in the darker yellow. Somehow, I got my floss colors switched. Oh well! The Amish put a mistake in their quilts to remind themselves that only God is perfect.

Hope your day is delicious!

  1. Very cute! I love the Spellbinders pie dies. When thinking about how I would use them, I thought of Thanksgiving and Pi Day. That wasn't enough to convince me, but I'm still considering them.
