Here's another set of "knockoff" cards I created using inspiration from Stampin' Up's Country Floral Lane collection.
This collection was part of the Occasions mini catalog for spring. The stamp/coordinating punch/papers may have been geared to Valentine's Day crafting, but it's versatile enough to use all year long. I liked the funky shape of the hearts, and the ability to put it on a stem and make it a flower. Cute!
Around the same time that the catalog came out, I found this retired stamp and dies set from My Favorite Things called Homespun Hearts. Someone was selling the set on a buy/sell forum for $8. I couldn't pass it up! The funky shaped hearts and flower stems had me thinking I could copy the SU look easily. I paired the images with some pretty pastel papers from Simple Stories.
The first card is a fun pocket card!
The second card was inspired by a similar layout from the catalog. I used a die from PTI's Mix and Mat series to make that crosshatch element. I love pastels paired with kraft!
The last card was also inspired by a layout from that page spread in the catalog. The label die and sentiment are from SU's Potted Geraniums stamps and dies. I'm really loving that label die, and I think I will need to cut out a bunch to have handy in the future!
Three more cards to add to the stash!
