In Praise of Flat Cards

 

Let's face it. With the rising cost of postage these days, we don't need to add anything to our cards that will make them even more expensive to mail!

A week or two back, I had made a version of this card using foam tape and lots of layers. And it was cute...but bulky.

I got to thinking...how can I put this card on a diet?

This is the skinny version!

}Today's Brew: Leafy frame die and sentiment (Taylored Expressions), Cloud cover plate (Lawn Fawn), bunny/butterfly/sunshine die (Lawn Fawn), church die and card stock(Papertrey Ink)}

And for this card, I used the negative space image that was leftover after cutting out the Taylored Expressions leafy frame die! I added a different sentiment from PTI.
