Yesterday was House Cleaning Day!
We've lived in the cottage for six years this June, and I have wanted to get the whole house cleaned every one of those years.
Vinyl siding gets dirty, and gutters and downspouts get mildewed and spotty.
Yuck.
We've never had the house power washed, and it needed it. We hired a local company, and they did the job in about two hours . Above, you can see the dirty gutters.
And after, so much better.
It felt like the house was put through the car wash! Jemma, who is not a fan of the car wash, was not happy!
The front porch really gets dusty and full of cobwebs. All fresh and clean for spring now!
I used to think my house was tan-colored. It turns out it is actually cream. Tan was just the color of the dirt. 😅
Another job crossed off the To Do list!
You are so good about keeping up with stuff! I am the classic absent-minded professor, with her nose in a book and her head in the clouds. I never notice anything needing done around the house until my husband points it out. Your home looks so neat, fresh, and tidy! I bet it's the gem on the block!
