A Froggy Kind of Week

I stepped out on the front porch yesterday morning and was greeted by this little fellow.

This little guy visits my garden every year, and I usually find him perched on this lantern. How funny! I guess he likes it there!

When my in-laws moved in to assisted living, we had to clean out their house and garden. Shirley Ann always had the best taste in garden décor! These frog statues were just too cute! I gave a few to my son, John, for his Indiana garden.

That sign! Hysterical!

I decided that he needed a bird bath, too, so I found this frog-on-a-lily pad bath to fit the theme. His cat, Kiku, likes to sit on the windowsill and watch the birds come to the feeder.

I've been working in the garden this week, getting some flower seeds planted and prepping the beds for a delivery of much needed mulch.

Hopping here, hopping there. Lots to do in the spring!

  2. That frog is a beautiful shade of green! That sign is funny...a great way to have guests smiling as they enter the home!
We have window wells and one particularly rainy spring they filled with water. I looked up from loading the washing machine and saw a frog swimming in the filled window well, as if it was his personal swimming pool!
