When the gardening season started in full swing, I realized that I could really use a new tool to help with daily tasks.
I started looking for a garden caddy. Something that would hold my tools, but would also be great for throwing in the weeds and sticks as I cleaned.
I looked at local garden shops, and they did sell plastic totes, but they were upwards of $20 for the small, and $40 for the big.
Then I looked online.
Something like this?
Or maybe collapsible like this?
Or maybe with handles like this?
Hey. Wait a minute.
Doesn't that last one look like one of the hundreds of reuasble totes that I already own? One of those freebies from the Home Shows and county fairs?
I looked through my stash, and in no time found the perfect one! Dark colored, made of plastic-like material, so it's easy to hose down. And big, with handles!
It works great!
I use it to store my kneeling pad, garden gloves, pruners, hand trowel, and weed digger. And it does a great job of hauling away the debris, too!
Cost for this fancy tool? Free!
Jemma approves. :)
