A 30th Birthday Celebration!

Our son, Jon, turned 30 on Friday! Thirty years ago, my nearly 9 pound baby came into the world! He's such a dear.

I made John a cake-themed card using stamps and dies from Concord and 9th!

Lots of sparkle on this one!

The cake theme worked out well, as I had big plans to get him these:

Have you tried Nothing Bundt Cakes? I got a dozen Bundtinis, and we cut them in half and sampled the different flavors. Mmmm! So good!

There were fun presents to open:

We spent a fun afternoon playing at Top Golf, and then had a nice dinner together that evening.

And the next day, we went to Connor Prairie to see the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra perform the soundtrack of Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark while watching the movie on the big outdoor screens.

It was a fun night for all of us, and the weather was perfect.

I think John had a great birthday!

Like I said, it was a roller coaster week...from funerals to celebrations. We are back home now, and I am ready to catch up on all the work that is waiting for me.

Blessings, café friends!
