Once in a while, I get the urge to pull out the watercolors and do some painting. I think it's a great way to expand my creative self.
There are so many pretty growing things to inspire me in the summer.
Sam sometimes gets inspired to do some painting, too. Recently, he pulled out his Bob Ross paint supplies and had a "fluffy white clouds" moment.
Oil painting is a tricky thing. And it takes WEEKS to dry.
I think it came out great! He's thinking of doing some collage on top of it, or maybe attempting acrylics over it.
Summertime is a great time to try something new.
Later today, I'm going to attempt a new thing: clean and organize my craft room!
