Today's card pairs a Christmas stamp set with non-Christmas sentiments and images for a card that says "summer"!
I made this card for one of my dear pastors who recently celebrated 40 years of preaching the word. Amazing! His first sermon was on the parable of the sower, and it just so happened that he preached on that same text last Sunday.
Pastor Tom grew up on a farm, and still farms to this day. As a boy, his family had dairy cows and sheep. How cool is it that the shepherd of our flock raised sheep?
He is also a collector of tractors. You may recall he gifted me with this one a few years ago:
Farmers have a saying: If it isn't red, leave it in the shed. LOL! That means that this particular farmer prefers International Harvester tractors over John Deere. That's why his card features a red tractor!
Farmers in our area have been harvesting wheat for the past two weeks. The fields looks so pretty! I saw two BIG sandhill cranes in a field of wheat last weekend...picture worthy (except I was in the car, so no time!).
Hope your day is filled with sunshine!

Well that little green tractor and trailer is adorable, especially with the flowers and flag! Love your card, too. It certainly says summer!
