Do you have a list? I do. I call it The "If I ever see that retired stamp/die again, I'm going to buy it!" List.
For years, I have been looking for a retired sentiment set from Taylored Expressions called Shade Tree Sentiments. I have owned Shade Tree Scripture stamps and the Shade Tree cover plate die for a long time. It's a classic! I love the font/typeface style, too. But Shade Tree Sentiments stamps always eluded me. It looked like such a great Go To set of sentiments...Happy Birthday, Get Well, With Sympathy, and more. I would search, and occasionally post to one of the ISO forums, but never found it.
Until last week, that is!
And let me tell you my thought. Sometimes, the universe rewards you for doing the right thing and letting something go.
I had been holding on to my Taylored Expressions earring dies and supplies for a while, but honestly, I hadn't made anything with them in over a year. They were great for church craft days, but I'm not doing those now. And honestly, I haven't worn the ones I made in a long time.
I decided to sell it all in a lot for a great price (half off). And someone happily snatched them up. Yea!
The next day? I found the stamp set I wanted on the same forum.
See? The lesson here is "Let it go".
A few more cards to replenish my stash.
Tell me: What's on your list?
