I love turkeys, don't you? Benjamin Franklin thought that the turkey should have been our nation's symbol rather than the eagle. I like Ben's thinking!
I've been stitching this Turkey Love pattern this week.
I had finished stitching one turkey and was halfway through the second when I realized I had missed a few stitches. And when you miss a stitch or two, it can throw a whole pattern off. What to do? I decided to let it go and embrace the imperfection. Fat Tom Turkey on the left, slightly skinnier turkey on the right.
I love the muted colors of fall in this project. It reminds me of the colors I see on my morning walks.
The beautiful colors of autumn! My favorite time of year.

Benjamin Franklin.....there's an incredibly fascinating and interesting man to read about! His life was productive and purposeful, for sure. I did not even notice the difference in turkey sizes. All I saw was a cute needlepoint project for Thanksgiving and fall! I love the stars stitched above the turkeys. You have a gift for appreciating the small things in daily life, Mary Rose, that I truly enjoy!
