A Squirrely Anniversary

Tomorrow is our anniversary! 34 years.

I made this funny squirrely card (Hello Bluebird) for my husband. The sentiment from the stamp actually says "Friendship is caring and sharing." I just omitted the top "Friendship is" part and put a little exclamation point at the end of "caring and sharing!"

We use the phrase "Sharing is caring!" a lot in our house for an assortment of occasions. Want a bite of someone's yummy dessert? Grab your fork, reach over and say "Sharing is caring!" LOL!

Got a bad cold from someone else's germs?

"Sharing is NOT caring!"

I think this one will make Ed laugh.

Did you notice? I used more Christmas patterned paper on this card! I thought the evergreens went well with the pinecones. I also used the heart-shaped tree rings dies from The Greetery...I found some of these already cut in my stash.

We are planning on a nice dinner in Ann Arbor's historic restaurant, The Gandy Dancer, tomorrow night. It is in the old original train station. Should be fun!

  1. Happy Anniversary, Mary Rose! Those two squirrels working together to carry a pine cone is a cute image to use for an anniversary card. I love the name of the restaurant - enjoy your dinner!
