We flipped the calendar to November, and BOOM! Snow and cold arrived and it was as if we were plunged headlong into the holiday season!
We woke up to a dusting of snow, but some areas of Michigan got so much snow that they had to cancel Trick or Treating and close schools today.
It does look pretty.
But it also makes me think that Christmas will be here in the blink of an eye. I saw the first of the holiday commercials on TV last weekend. Too soon?
Today's card for Operation Patterned Paper features a black and white theme. Not your traditional Christmas colors, but I like it.
The stamped Joy and sentiment are from Hello Bluebird, as is the snowflake. Papers and enamel dot are from Simple Stories Winter Farmhouse collection. I also added a woodgrain embossed panel.
A simple wintry card that was easy to assemble, thanks to those patterned papers that I'm no longer hoarding.
Happy November!
Hoarding is no good! It was all made to be happily used. It's so fun seeing what you are making with your stash. Send the snow to Pittsburgh! My husband and I returned last night after a week in Florida and South Carolina visiting our girls and his first words were, "Brrrr....I'm going back to live with Caitlin!" (the one in Florida). I was jumping for joy at the cold, though. Florida made me feel like a melting, drippy popsicle.
