Pageants and Parties

 

This morning, we had the heartwarming experience of seeing the Children's Christmas Program at church.

I am always reminded of the Charlie Brown Christmas special, especially Linus and his Good News message.

Today is my husband's birthday. In honor of the Peanuts gang, I made him a card inspired by the kids.

I had the Charlie Brown stamp, but no Christmas tree to match it, so I just drew it with a black Micron marker and colored it in with COPIC markers. Easy!

I colored in the blue sky with markers and used a white Signo gel pen to make the snowy backdrop. The snowy ground has a little Wink of Stella, too.

I think this one will make him laugh today!
