Three Kings Slimline

I made this slimline card last week, and let me tell you, it took for-ever! I spent hours, and I think I had 7 or 8 cards when it was all done.

So many steps!

Cutting slimline bases. Die cutting the three kings. Ink blending the background. Embossing elements. Splattering with shimmer spray.

And then cutting the interior panel and stamping inside and ink blending the edges.

A lot of work!

But it did come out so pretty in the end!

{Today's Brew: Taylored Expressions dies, TE Handlettered Hymns sentiment, PTI stamp (for the shining rays), CP inks, shimmer spray, inside stamps from Concord and 9th}

My husband informed me that he needed sixteen cards by Thursday. 16! I will not be making this card for that purpose, that's for sure! LOL

This may be a record year for the number of cards made for Christmas. Next year, I may need to start in January. :)

  1. You have been making a ton of Christmas cards! What is your final count, do you know? You'll whip out 16 beautiful cards, I just know it, because you are in the creating groove! The three wise men card is STUNNING. The vibrancy of the background colors makes the wise men silhouettes and shimmer spray stand out. Your card is both joyful and holy - the perfect Christmas feeling!
