Winter Sympathy

 

I needed some sympathy cards this week, so I pulled out the set Reflections from the Greetery. This set has great stamps to make a watery reflection of the trees, but I used some of the stamps to make a wintry scene instead.

I paired it with this much-used sentiment from PTI's Think Big Favorites.

It's a hard time of year to lose a loved one. We feel the loss very keenly at the holidays.

As the year is coming to a close, my husband and I have been reflecting on how quickly time flies. We see this with our aging mothers, and we see this in ourselves, too. We are reminded of the words from Psalm 90: Lord, teach us to number our days.
