Is anyone else out there a doodler? I'm sure I've been doing it since I was a school girl.
Sometimes, I have to let that creative part of my brain do its thing while doing something else, like attending a Bible study.
I must have been hungry for lunch, and thinking about the laundry at home.
Last month, A Cherry on Top had a 12 Days of Christmas sale, where they had a special each day. One of those days was an "All planners and journaling supplies 50% off" day.
I knew it was a sign to get the thing I'd been looking at for months!
Archer and Olive journals!
I'd seen a few journalers use these on Instagram. And they are pricey. I'm so glad I stumbled on such a good sale. And oh, the quality! I ordered three in different colors, and gave one to a friend for Christmas. They arrived in these beautiful lidded boxes.
I decided to start with this green one featuring an adorable chipmunk. They have elastic straps, pen holder, and two ribbon bookmarks.
I also grabbed this dark grey Le Pen during the sale. My plan is to use this with my Tombow markers, as they do not bleed through paper the way COPICS will do.
These are dot grid journals, printed on white paper with a great toothy feel.
I want to start journaling and doodling my week and my thoughts in these. Just a good exercise as I practice gratitude for all of the blessings in my Year of Plenty.
