This is my Year of Plenty, a year to remind myself that I have plenty of _________ to fill all my needs.
I am trying hard to stay strong, but it's not always easy. This week, I ordered a few consumables like glue and cutting blades from A Cherry on Top during a great sale. I resisted the urge to add papers and embellishments and stamps and dies that I don't need. That's a win, right?
I saw that Gina K Designs has a really lovely bouquet stamp that was released, and it reminded me "Hey, I think I have something similar, and I'm not even sure if I've used it yet!"
Sketched Wildflower Bouquet from The Greetery. Yep! This will do nicely!
I embossed the image in gold and then used CP inks to watercolor. I used the same inks to give a splatter background. And for the edge of the card I used a few swipes of CP's new gold metallic ink along the edges. Bonus! I also used the new Postal die that I got from Hello Bluebird's last release.
I've been cleaning my craft studio this week, repurposing some shelves and storage units to make things more accessible. It's looking nice and organized and pretty, and it makes me appreciate all the great supplies I have at my disposal.
It's cold and snowy, and I plan on making some cards to have on hand for my church friends today.
Blessings on your Friday, café friends!
Your gold embossing really gives an elegant look to the bouquet. I admire how you use what you've got to make the cards that you want.
