I made this card for the Inspired By challenge. Here's the inspiration:
I would normally be all in for that tea pot. But this time, I was drawn to the sweater knit of those mittens.
I had been fooling around in the craft room on New Years, just cutting out some dies and making some embossed panels for future use.
This one definitely has all the winter feels,.
{Today's Brew: snow flake cover plate die (Catherine Pooler), sweater knit embossing folder (Stampin Up), enamel dot, shimmer spray}
And speaking of winter feels...polar vortex! Brrr. I made three soups this week! Happy to be cozy inside during this frigid season.
gorgeous Mary Rose!
ReplyDeleteLove the blues and the framing of the embossed background. That's a unique way to highlight its texture (and this folder is one of my favorites - I have it, too)!
ReplyDeleteMy daughters bought me a Soups & Stews special edition magazine from All Recipes for Christmas and I've already made 3 soups from it! Our library is having a soup swap in a couple weeks and I have another picked out to take to the event.
You certainly rocked this inspiration challenge! Love your card! And stay warm, Jemma! M.L.
