Yay! It's a snow day here in Michigan! We got a few inches of snow overnight that turned into sleet. No school, no Bible study today, no travel.
What to do? Craft, of course!
In another moment of weakness, I found this C and 9th class kit for sale on a buy/sell FB forum. I'd never seen it before, but instantly fell in love with it. It contains five-part stencils, stamps, dies and card stock, along with instructions.
And this set was so fun and easy to use! You can make it simple (no stamps, just ink blending) or detailed and layered (you can even add embossing paste for snow, but I skipped that step).
Just look at the sweet detail that the stamps give to this scene! Tree bark, branches, log cabin trim, fencing. And it was so easy to line up, too.
I made a big pot of vegetable barley soup last night, so my plan is to put on the Christmas music, eat some yummy soup for lunch, and then get crafty!
I love a snow day!
