Get Well Cards and Flu Shuts
So tell me, do you get a flu shot? It's all you seem to read about this time of year. I've never gotten the shot, but I have had the flu on several occasions, and it is no fun. Remember the year of Swine Flu? My poor son, Luke, had it in college.
It seems as if the vaccines are a bit of a gamble, as the pharmaceutical companies try to predict what will be the most prevalent strain for the upcoming season. In 2017, I read that the shots were anywhere from ten percent to forty percent effective. Not the best odds. Still, how does the old saying go? An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Or something like that.
At any rate, I've made a good stash of Get Well cards for the upcoming cold and flu season! This one uses Lawn Fawn On The Mend stamp set. I did a little paper piecing, fussy cutting and coloring with this card.

Happy Monday, cafe friends!
