A Preppy Easter

 I have a friend who loves all things preppy...Vera Bradley, Lily Pulitzer, etc.

Is "preppy" just a code word for expensive?

My Sam uses the term "bougie" to describe anything a little extra fancy and bourgoisie. Ooo la la. It must be a teen thing.

Anyway, I decided to make a preppy Easter card using some stamps and dies from Concord and 9th.

To make the background, I used Striped Sayings background stamp, stamped, turned the card stock a quarter of a turn, re-inked, and stamped again.

I really love this color combo! It's so fresh and fun. PTI Blueberry Sky, New Leaf, and Raspberry Fizz. The sentiment is also from an old PTI Easter set that I recently got used from a seller.

{Today's Brew: Striped Sayings (Concord and 9th), Tulip dies (Concord and 9th), stitched banner die (PTI), PTI sentiment, enamel dots, PTI ink and card stock}

Do you have your Easter plans firmed up? I'm putting together some fun gift bags for the boys. And the gift to myself? I booked us all at a lovely restaurant in Blissfield, Michigan called the Main Street Stable, where we can all enjoy an Easter buffet...and I don't have to cook it! Yay! Three cheers to getting smarter with age!

Blessings, cafe friends!
