A Gift For Our Craft Friends

Hello, cafe friends!

I have returned from one weekend getaway...just in time to prepare for another weekend getaway!

This weekend, Mom and I are heading to the Hankerd Inn for our Autumn Craft Retreat. We look forward to this one all year!

We are a fun group of church women who love to share and laugh and craft together. And in the spirit of sharing, we are a gifty group, too.

Mom and I decided to give a coffee-inspired gift this time. Each package contains a coffee-inspired devotional (Sip, Savor and Drink Deeply by Deb Burma, Concordia Publishing House), a Pumpkin Spice K Cup, some chocolates, and a coffee coaster.

I found this cute packaging at Joann's. It's meant to be used for caramel apples, but I think it works well for our purposes, too. I got a great deal...60% off today, so only $1.99 for the package.

Each kit contains 8 baggies, 8 tags and ribbons, and eight apple coasters...which we are going to call coffee coasters instead.

I have a lot of packing to do! I'm going to try to limit my supplies. I know, I know. I say this every time! But I really mean it! I don't need to bring every stamp set in my collection "just in case". I think I'm pairing down to the fifteen or so new/used Stampin' Up sets I've purchased in the last few months, and maybe a few assorted Thanksgiving and Christmas related items. Wish me luck!

Is anyone making Christmas cards yet? Before you know it, the holiday season will be here. I hope to be a little more prepared this year by starting early.

Hope you are having a great week!
