Our 30th Anniversary!

This weekend, Ed and I will be celebrating our thirtieth wedding anniversary with a trip up north to Traverse City. Thirty years! Where did the time go? We plan on doing a bike tour along the Leelenau Peninsula for some autumn leaf viewing, while visiting a few of the famous west coast wineries along the way.

I did a little research, and discovered that the 30th wedding anniversary flower is the lily, the gem is the pearl, and the color is green. So, I combined all of those elements on this card!

I used the Botanical Blocks IV stamp set from Papertrey Ink. Technically, those flowers are probably Amaryllis for Christmas, but when you color them in shades of orange, they make a very nice Tiger Lily! I used the stamps from Year of Flowers to label the "Lilies" by omitting "of the Valley" when I inked the stamp.

Inside, I used a sentiment and some leafy images from Concord and 9th.

Thirty years of adventure with this man. What a blessing!

Thanks for visiting the cafe today!
