Black Friday is Coming!
Black Friday is coming! Black Friday is coming!
Is it just me, or did you hear about early Black Friday sales all month long? I think retailers were a little freaked out because Black Friday happens so late this year. There's one less week of shopping between now and Christmas.
I have two family members who will be working this Black Friday. Personally, I much prefer doing my holiday shopping on Cyber Monday.
In the past, I've probably placed one or two crafty orders during Black Friday sales. This year? Nope. The $12 budget challenge is in effect. No impulse buys for me! I will have to avert my eyes and not look at all the pretties.
And speaking of that $12 challenge, I had a great strategy when I first came up with this idea. If I needed anything, I'd just go buy it at Tuesday Morning. $3 packs of card stock, cheap envelopes, great paper packs and the occasional stamp and die treasure.
And then I went to visit the store two weeks ago, and saw this sign in the window. Our Tuesday Morning location is closing. Waaah!
I think God has a pretty funny sense of humor.
I guess I will have to practice what St. Paul preaches and learn to be content no matter the circumstances...or wish list. 😉
Today's card speaks to that. I have been blessed beyond measure with an abundance of good things! And I am really going to enjoy them this year.
{Today's Brew: Year of Psalms (PTI), Mat Stack die (PTI), leaf dies (Concord and 9th), papers and enamel dots (Simple Stories Fall Farmhouse collection), SU gold ribbon twine}
I hope you feel blessed beyond measure, too!
Thanks for visiting the cafe today!
