A Papertrey Ink Easter Basket

Hello, cafe friends!

I brewed up a fun Easter basket to share with you today! I bought this Coverplate Basket die from PTI during one of their sales, and I'm so glad I did. It pairs perfectly with the Egg Hunt stamps and die!

I wanted to give the basket a little Easter grass, so I used my Lawn Fawn grassy border die. The die is straight, but I managed to curve it when I attached it with a line of glue. It looks a little crunchy from the back, but when you turn it over you cannot even see where it's been curved.

I used some stencils from My Favorite Things to create sky and grass.

Then, I adhered the basket to the card front, tucked in the eggs, and added ribbon and sentiment.

And as long as the stencils were out and dirty, I added a little sweet scene to the inside, too!

I'm sending this card to Shirley Ann with a gift. I picked up these Swedish Cleaning Cloths at Meijer over a month ago. I have some, and they work great! You can even throw them in the dryer or top rack of dishwasher to clean.

This Easter gift will be a bit belated, but that's okay.

Hoping this will brighten her day!

Blessings, cafe friends!

  1. What a cute card! Shirley Ann will love it and the dish cloths. Btw, I've just started using my first package of Swedish dish cloths. I like them!
