COVID-19 Plan: Take a Course Online
Last fall, I took an online course on the young Jane Austen and Northanger Abbey through Hillsdale College. It was a lot of fun! There were video lectures, quizzes, and of course, reading assignments.
And did I mention? Free.
Hillsdale offers many free courses online. You can take courses on history, literature, philosophy, and more. Just visit hillsdale.edu and click on their online courses to see the full roster.
I decided to enroll in an Introduction to C.S. Lewis this week. I have a few of Lewis' books here at home to dive into, but this course begins with a short book called The Abolition of Man that I will have to pick up on Kindle (2.99).
I am also thinking of enrolling in an online course in German. Why not learn something new while being stuck at home?
Have you ever taken an online course? If so, do you have any favorites to recommend?

I'm enrolled in the same C.S Lewis course! I'm on the first lecture and haven't read The Abolition of Man. I just got an email about a course on Moses.
ReplyDeleteThat's great, Nichole! I am about 2/3 of the way through the Abolition of Man. Not an easy read...very much like a college textbook. LOL!
