I finally did it. I finally made it to one of the stops on the Midwest Shop Hop!
It was a beautiful day, and I convinced my husband that a road trip to Marshall, Michigan was just the ticket. We ate a delicious lunch at historic Win Schuler's restaurant, popped in to some shops in the quaint downtown, and then headed for my destination: Paper and I!
At this point, my husband geared up and went on a 75-mile bike road to home, allowing me to browse to my hearts' content!
And did I shop? Oh yes. I shopped!
Paper and I is one of my favorite stores! They carry so many different lines and brands and products. It's a blast! I found the Tombow blending pens I've been considering, a cute ducky set from Lawn Fawn, and this haul of new release items from Catherine Pooler. woo hoo!
My passport is now officially stamped! The only problem? The hop ends on the 24th. waaah! The month of May has certainly gotten away from me! I am wondering if I can fit one or two more shops in before it ends.
It's so fun to be in a shop, where the atmosphere is always happy and positive! There's a lot of free flow conversation with shoppers and store owners. We laugh, we share ideas. Good times!
Thanks for visiting the café today!
