I started working on Christmas cards this week!
Which leads me to a little confession...
... I've been getting ideas from Greeting Card companies!
I had been perusing the Dayspring offerings this year, which were lovely. And the more I looked, the more I thought "Hey, I can do something very similar with what I have!"
I began with the pines from this Catherine Pooler stamp set.
I stamped them in assorted greens.
I used an old PTI stamp set, Background Basics Sheet Music, to add the musical score.
The sentiment is from Taylored Expressions. I also added the snowy background using PTI's Soft Stone (love that color!) with a Soft Stone card base. Everything is on a panel cut with The Greetery's Nordic frames die.
I made ten of this design. Really happy with how this one came out!
Are you prepared for tomorrow's feasting day? I have a pumpkin cake to take to church tonight (done!), and chicken salsa verde casserole all ready for dinner tonight (whew!), pies purchased from Sam's Club. Things are looking good. No one will go hungry.
Blessings, café friends!
