How do you feel about Pantone's Color of the Year for 2024? I'm a fan. My ultralight packable down coat from Land's End is very similar to this color, and whenever I wear it, I get compliments. Peach goes well with my coloring, I guess.
Today's Card features lots of new for my 2024 Use It Challenge, including the new Pantone color!
A Peach Fuzz snowy sky! I love it!
I combined lots of new to me/waiting to be used Hello Bluebird products for this one!
{Today's Brew: Skating Together stamps, My Snowman stamps and dies, trees from HB slimline die, LF stitched hills, Simple Stories Winter Wonders papers}
When HB had a big overstock/discontinued sale last fall, I was hesitant to buy Skating Together because the dies weren't available. But in the end, I decided it wouldn't be too hard to fussy cut, and I was right. I'm glad I didn't let that deter me.
The Winter Wonders collection from Simple Stories is so sweet for this time of year! I will be using this collection a lot this month.
And speaking of snow, we've got a good chance of getting some real accumulation this weekend. Finally!
Haha, an accumulation of snow - that is my love language!
ReplyDeleteBig fan of the Peach Fuzz color. Stampin' Up!'s Pale Papaya (similar) was my most-used In Color ever.
I love how you used the "let it" words bridge the two paper patterns. The snowman looks so happy to be in the winter wonderland you created!
It's finally here, Nicole! I hope it's coming your way, too!
DeletePeach has been my favorite color forever...my first wedding featured peach-colored bridesmaids' gowns in Qiana fabric...remember that? Anyway, your peachy background just makes this little snowman stand out even more! Love him!
ReplyDeleteI remember Julia Roberts' character in Steel Magnolias saying that her bridesmaids' dresses were "blush and bashful". Loved that!
