Use It Challenge: Winter Sunset

Today's Brew uses one of those snowy panels, employing the heat emboss resist technique with some ink blending to create a winter sunset backdrop.

This time, I used a white Signo gel pen to add some more "snow" to the girl and the birds.

I used another new set with this card! woo hoo! I'm on a roll! This time, I added a sentiment from Hello Bluebird's My Snowman stamp set to the center of this snowflake.

{Today's Brew: Feed the Birds stamps and dies (HB), My Snowman (HB), Falling snow BG stamp (HB), WPlus9 snowflake die, CP inks, glitter card stock, signo gel pen, copics}

An amazing thing happened yesterday. The sun made an appearance! It was so welcome, too. Cold, but sunny. Jemma and I took advantage of the brief hours of daylight to squeeze in a winter walk. Back to grey today, though.

Make your day sunny, friends!

  1. Your last 2 cards are adorable! The Catherine Pooler inks you keep showing have me testing my word for the year, "restraint" haha! Your ink blending is just gorgeous!
