Our church had a really nice program this weekend called "Growing in God's Love". This was an intergenerational time of study and fellowship that was an alternative to traditional vacation bible school.
We met on Friday evening for the introduction, and then enjoyed an ice cream social, a campfire with smores, a bouncy house and singing.
We all received these cute t-shirts, too.
On Saturday, we came back for some fun. We had a scavenger hunt:
We had lunch and study together.
We decorated flower pots and then filled them with flowers, which we will take to residents of the nursing homes in our area.
And this morning, we gathered back together for worship and a wrap up of the study.
A nice weekend of fun and fellowship.
